The Story Behind the Standard
Gold Standard Sports Management was built on a simple belief: sport has the power to transform institutions, communities, and lives - but only when it’s delivered with intent, structure, and operational excellence.
OUR STORY
GSSM was founded in 2017 with a mission to professionalise how sport is delivered in India - across schools, live events, infrastructure, and communities.
We saw an industry full of fragmented vendors, ad-hoc coaching arrangements, and missed potential. Schools needed more than a coach showing up twice a week.
Events needed more than logistics. Infrastructure needed more than a contractor. And communities deserved better access to quality sporting facilities.
So we built a company that could deliver across the entire sports value chain - end-to-end, on the ground, with accountability.
We’ve engaged over 50,000 students, partnered with India’s leading school networks, and delivered on some of the country’s biggest sporting platforms
But what defines us isn’t scale - it’s standard. Every program we run, every facility we build, every event we execute is held to the same benchmark: the Gold Standard.

Vaibhav Gulati
GSSM was founded by Vaibhav, a sports industry professional with over 15 years of experience spanning elite sporting events, international sports brands, and India’s most prestigious educational institutions.
Before founding GSSM, Vaibhav’s career spanned over 15 years in leadership roles focused on sports development and end-to-end programme management - be it operational delivery for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 across 14 stadiums nationwide, working with Manchester United Soccer Schools, or driving sports programmes at institutions like The Cathedral & John Connon School, Aditya Birla World Academy, DSB International School, Indian Football School, and Brazil Football Academy.
This breadth of experience - from World Cup stadiums to school playgrounds - gave him a unique perspective on what the Indian sports ecosystem was missing: a single partner capable of delivering with quality, consistency, and accountability across every dimension of sport.
GSSM is the answer to that gap.
